Nederman, Sandvik cut $1-million filtration deal

Stockholm—Nederman will supply Sandvik Materials Technology with a cutting fluid filtration and recycling system in a $1.57-million deal.
Nederman will supply two vacuum filter systems for cutting fluids used during metal machining, including oil mist filters and a number of conveyors for swarf.
The system re-uses large amounts of cutting fluids normally discarded. Installation and start-up will be completed during the second quarter of 2013.
Sandvik Material Technology in Sweden develops and produces advanced stainless steels, special alloys, titanium and other high-performance materials.
