Google buys 20 years of wind power

Mountain View, CA: Tech blog and online news source Mashable has reported that Google has signed a power purchase agreement with an Iowa wind farm to buy its energy output for the next 20 years.

Indeed, Google is so committed to clean energy that it has become a de facto energy utility. Last February it became officially licensed to buy and sell energy like a public utility.
