B.C. rail equipment maker to build production facility in Texas

VANCOUVER—Railroad equipment supplier Kelso Technologies Inc. is building new US$2.4 million production facility in Bonham, Texas.
Kelso says the Bonham location enjoys close proximity to customers; qualified suppliers; capable human resources; and government support.
The 44,000-square-foot facility will be completed in mid 2014 and is funded through Kelso’s internal capital resources.
The new facility will handle large volume production of multiple product lines for OEM and retrofit markets. 40,000 square feet will be dedicated to production and 4,000 square feet will be used for production engineering and business administration.
The building can be expanded to 100,000 square feet at the same location should business growth exceed management’s expectations.
