Worker dies at Saputo’s Tenton, Ont. facility

TRENTON, Ont.—Dairy producer Saputo says an employee has died at its Trenton, Ont. plant.

Saputo says the fatality occurred Thursday afternoon on one of the plant’s production lines.

Saputo says it’s cooperating with authorities who are investigating the death, but is not releasing any further details.

Saputo says it’s making counselling available to employees.

Saputo is the largest dairy processor in Canada, producing cheese, milk and cream products.
