MONTREAL—A former senior executive from SNC-Lavalin has been named president and chief executive of Golder Associates, a global consulting and engineering firm.

Hisham Mahmoud, who had been president of SNC’s infrastructure arm since joining the company in 2013, will be head of an Atlanta, Ga.-based, employee-owned organization with 180 offices worldwide and about 7,000 employees.
