Summit to explore strategies, risks, opportunities
Most manufacturers recognize there are bottom line benefits to going green, but they may not be sure how to implement the right sustainable strategy.
To help businesses reduce the environmental impacts of their operations, Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters will host a one-day conference on sustainable manufacturing on November 24.
The 2010 Sustainable Manufacturing Summit will examine what leading Ontario companies are doing to achieve their environmental goals while driving revenue and cutting costs.
Sessions will include speakers from government and industry who will discuss issues such as financing, full cost accounting, energy efficiency, clean technologies, supply chain and carbon management.
The conference will be held at the International Centre in Mississauga, Ont.
