OSHAWA, Ont.—Chevrolet says its all-new 2014 Impala sedan will see a marginal jump in sticker price when it hits Canadian showroom floors in the spring.
According to the automaker, its flagship sedan will have a starting price of $28,455—an increase of $145 more than its 2013 predecessor.
Completely redesigned for the 2014 model year, the Impala features engine choices ranging from a 3.6-litre V6 to 2.5- and 2.4-litre four-cylinder powerplants.
Chevrolet claims a new Impala featuring the 2.4-litre enginge with eAssist technology is estimated to net fuel economy as low as 5.6 litres per 100 kilometres on the highway.
Available in three trim levels, the 2014 Impala tops out at $39,645.
The new Impala will be built at the Oshawa, Ont., and Detroit-Hamtramck, Mich., assembly plants.
