Extension will see aluminum and titanium for A320, A330 and A380 aircraft delivered through 2019
Toronto—Canada’s Magellan Aerospace has announced its British subsidiary, Magellan Aerospace UK, has signed a $585-million aluminum and titanium supply contract extension with Airbus.
The extension will see the titanium and aluminum wing components for Airbus’ A320, A330 and A380 aircraft delivered from the Mississauga, Ont.-based firm’s Wrexham and Bournemouth, England, facilities through the end of 2019.
With its previously-signed contract to develop components for the new A350 aircraft, Magellan is now a supplier on all of Airbus’ civil programs, the company announced.
