Terminal & Cable TC signed $11.22-million deal to provide cable, wiring harnesses to program
CARIGNAN, Que.—A suburban Montreal firm is the latest to be awarded a sub-contract for work on Canada light armoured vehicle fleet.
Terminal & Cable TC, Inc., of Carignan, Que., has signed an $11.22-million deal to provide cable and wiring harnesses to the refurbishment program of some 550 Canadian military LAVs.
The sub-contract was awarded by General Dynamics Land Systems Canada, which received a $1.064-billion deal from the Department of National Defence in October 2011 to overhaul the fleet.
According to the DND, the purpose of the program is to expand the life span of the military’s LAVs through 2035.
