Non-reimbursable funding for “enzyme management process optimization work”
QUEBEC CITY — CO2 Solutions Inc. is getting $348,000 in non-reimbursable funding from the National Research Council’s (NRC’s) Industrial Research Assistance Program (IRAP) to further its development of enzyme-enabled carbon capture technology.
The companies technology development will include what it describes “enzyme evolution and enzyme management process optimization work.”
Funding will be dispersed over the next 12 months.
The company’s technology uses enzymes that capture carbon emissions generated by stationary sources from any gas stream with any aqueous solvent or solution.
