Hamilton, Ontario-based McKeil Marine Limited has hired Brent Kinnaird as marketing manager. His duties will include building the McKeil brand and working with the business development team to develop a marketing strategy for the tug and barge service provider.
MIQ Logistics, which is based in Overland Park, Kansas, has a new manager of business development. Barry Solomon will be responsible for strategic account development and new business efforts. He has worked at FedEx, Damco USA (a division of Maersk Logistics) and Hankyu International Transportation.
Ecolab, a St. Paul, Minnesota-based company that provides water treatment, food safety, and cleaning services has hired Alex Blanco as executive vice-president and chief supply chain officer. He will oversee the company’s global supply chain operations, including Ecolab’s 98 manufacturing plants and more than 200 distribution and other supply chain facilities around the world. Before joining Ecolab, he was vice-president of products supply in the global beauty division of Procter & Gamble Co.
