Who’s hired, who’s moving around in the supply chain sector
Hamed Farhadi is the new senior vice-president and head of global trade solutions for San Francisco, California-based Bank of the West. In his new role, he will work to expand the bank’s global trade solutions business.
Entercoms Inc, a Dallas, Texas-based aftermarket supply chain service provider, appointed Arjun Malhotra to its board of directors.
Texarkana, Texas-based TSD Logistic Inc, which provides transportation solutions for the tire and rubber industry, has a new CEO and president. Robert Muir, was promoted to the dual role from the position of chief financial officer.
Freight forwarder and supply chain solutions provider Damco has not only moved its headquarters from Copenhagen, Denmark to The Hague, Netherlands, the company also made a number of management changes. Steffen Schiottz-Christensen is the new CEO for the company’s Africa and Middle East region and will be based in Cape Town, South Africa. He previously worked in Damco’s Chinese division. Schiottz-Christensen succeeds Nils Havsager, who has become Damco’s new global COO, replacing Peter Kjaer Jensen who now has the title of global chief transformation officer, with responsibility for all IT projects. Both Jensen and Havsager are based in The Hague. Karsten Breum, who served as global head of HR, has been named CEO for Damco’s Asia-Pacific region operations, replacing Tony Hotine. Breum will be based in Singapore.
Sant’Antonino, Switzerland-based Interroll has three new managers. Hauke Tiedemann is the new head of the global Interroll Centre of Excellence for Industrial Drum Motors in Baal, Germany. Bertrand Reymond had been named head of the global Interroll Centre of Excellence for Dynamic Storage Solutions in La Roche sur Yon, France. Helmut Maiwald was appointed head of Interroll’s research centre in Wassenberg, Germany.
