Ontario government looking for opinions about traffic congestion
TORONTO, Ontario: The Government of Ontario is asking members of the public for their thoughts and concerns about traffic in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and Ottawa-area National Capital Region (NCR).
As part of the Standing Committee on General Government’s traffic congestion study of those two areas, public hearings are being held next month. The Committee will sit in Toronto on Monday, June 4 and on Wednesday, June 6. At this time there are no hearings scheduled in Ottawa.
People interested in making an oral presentation to the committee need to contact the Clerk of the Committee by 12:00 PM on Tuesday, May 29. For those looking to submit a written presentation, they can send their comments to the Clerk of the Committee.
